Now it may seem weird that I am about to point out that the Unilevel Networking or MLM business marketing plan has some weak points. The fact is, if you understand that everything including the Unilevel does have week points and you know the Unilevel week points then you will know what to look for in a Unilevel marketing plan and make a more informed decision.

 
 
The good news is that there are two powerful Unilevel Networking or MLM businesses on offer further down this page. One of them has even found a very clever way to solve most if not all of the Unilevel marketing plan week points. The other has another way around the Unilevel challenges.
   

A Unilevel is simply another way to divide the profits generated by a direct marketing sales team. It allows the members to build their own sales teams and the members of these teams are placed on levels. So if Fred introduces Marry then Marry would be on Fred's first level If Marry introduced Bruce then Bruce would be on Mary's first level and which happens to be Fred's second level

Now the number of levels will depend on the Unilevel marketing plan the company you choose has. The number of levels varies a great deal and the percentages of profit paid on each level will also greatly vary from company to company.
 
Is this a pyramid? This is one of the most misunderstood areas in this form of marketing. If you were to draw out the marketing structure for any successful business or the government for that mater you will usually end up with a flow chart diagram that looks similar to the pyramid shape but that's not to say that it is a pyramid. There are a few factors in determining whether a business structure is a pyramid or not. One of the key elements is as follows. If a product sold through a business structure increases in price as it is moved down the SALES TEAM structure then there is an extremely high chance that it is an illegal pyramid scheme. All of the sales team should have across to the product for the same cost and be able to retail it at the same retail price as every other sales member. This of course is only a rough guide as this page isn't about giving any legal advice at all.
 

 
The unilevel or variants of the unilevel are one of the oldest forms of direct sales through network marketing or MLM and have stood the test of time however some weaknesses have shown and this is why more sophisticated marketing plans or matrixes have and are being developed. For a unilevel to work well it needs most of the members to be constantly turning over product through self use or/and sales. In many cases it also takes a reasonable size sales/member team that you started and helped build before you can break even on costs and self use of product. This is the main problem I see as people eventually get sick of constantly paying out of their pocket for little or no return. Due to this it is hard to keep your sales team together and active as there is usually a high drop out rate. They tend to drop out so you are now spending your time replacing non-active members instead of growing your business. This is a shame because unilevels do have the power to pay very well but people today tend to look at the short term and not at building something for their future. Unilevel Strong Points

Well I hope that you are still with me after reading the unilevel week points. Everything usually has two sides to it and now we shall get into the strong points of the unilevel
 
A unilevel is a very simple matrix (calculator) or business structure for organizing a large sales team and this is why it is so widely used. It is also a very fare way of doing business because it pays for results and effort. For a member of a unilevel it gives them an opportunity to build their own sales force/team from home without any special tools and skills at a very low start up cost. This means you can build for yourself a residual income where you don't get paid for the hours you do but from the work you have done in building and supporting your team. Your income directly reflects the size and activity level of your team. This is why many professional networkers earn very large incomes and have the lifestyle other only dream of. What I love with unilevel is that you get out of them what you put into them. You are responsible for your success. This is not to say that you won't get help and assistance from people on the levels above you. To the contrary, they are usually all to willing to help you as the more you earn the more they earn. Remember they have a % interest in you. As mentioned before, the unilevel is a very fare system. If you do more than the people that joined before and above you, there is no reason why you can't earn more than they do and they will help you do it. This has happened time and time and time again.
 
Two Powerful Unilevels to Choose From

We have now gone through the weak and strong points of the unilevel matrix. Personally I lost interest in the unilevel due to it's weak points. This was a shame due to the great strengths of the unilevels strong points but the weeks points were overbearing.

Luckily a friend of mine employed a mathematician that had worked for the Pentagon to solve a few problems associated with network marketing. He wanted the power and speed of a binary matrix (a more modern update alternative to the unilevel that works of just two legs) but also wanted the problem of people failing to qualify for payments due to them not being able to balance the two legs solved. Basically he wanted the two legs forced into a Single Line Express leg. It took the mathematical 3 months of formula writing and testing on computers to come up with the ground breaking answer/formula. You say what has this to do with solving the unilevel problems. We are getting there.
 
So a new cutting Single Line Express (SLE) plan was born and the software was written. Basically all the sales made are placed on a single line and as people cycle (are paid) they roll to the bottom of that line so no one stays on top. To qualify you make just personal two sales, then the companies next 75 sales are counted and then you cycle with a payment. That payment happens to be about the amount of your product purchase. Notice that your were paid whether that two people you sold to made sales or not. There are four ways to re-qualify for more personal payments including two ways where you make no more personal sales. This can keep continuing. Their are also up to 100% Training Bonuses paid to encourage you to help your team. These are easy to qualify for and once qualified you stay qualified.
 
There is a point to the above. The unilevel can be a very profitable structure/matrix so a unilevel was also built in to this business. It has 5 levels that pays L1 = 1%, L2 = 40%, L3 = 10%, L4 = 10%, L5 = 10% to 35%. These percentages are of the profit generated from the sale of product. Notice that level 2 (L2) is very high at 40%. This is designed so that it encourages you to help your personally referred people that are on your L1 and for them to do the same. It helps build strength in your business and to get you profitable fast.

The Straight Line Express (SLE) is a much faster and easier structure/matrix than a unilevel to build. The CEO of this company, Gerald Lynch also didn't want people constantly paying money out of their pocket as they typically have to do with unilevels The aim was for a once out of pocket product purchase. This is achieved by members (their not really members) called Independent Contractors (IC) being active in the faster and easier Single Line Express (SLE) plan first. They can't take part in the optional unilevel until they have cycled (been paid) at least once in the Single Line Express (SLE). Now they can take part in the optional unilevel and make monthly personal purchases and sales by not paying out of their pocket. They can use the profits they make from the SLE instead. This is very clever as it means an Independent Contractor (IC) doesn't have to concentrate on building the unilevel as it is automatically built from the much faster and easier Single Line Express (SLE). Mathematically, mid and long term the unilevel in this business should be a lot more profitable than the Single Line Express (SLE) but the SLE generates an income a lot faster and easier This means you now have a tool to build a strong and successful unilevel and this is why I'm very excited.

Technically this is not a unilevel although it is very similar. Pure unilevel compensation plans can have motivational challenges and higher than average fall off rates. This company has greatly improved those challenges by turning the unilevel into a forced 2x matrix compensation plan.

Why is a 2x forced compensation plan a great improvement. A lot of it is to do with the high potential of spill-over from above member activity. You see the average networker sponsors over 2 people. As this is a forced 2x matrix, once the first 2 positions are full on the first level, any other referrals have to be placed on the following level, thereby creating spill-over for the first level. Now this company goes one step further for creating success for its members. To qualify for any potential payments, all a member has to do is just refer ONLY ONE active member and purchase ONE bottle of product per month. This is ONE referral in total, not one every month. An active member is basically a member that purchases a bottle of product each month.

So if you combine the power of a 2x forced compensation plan with the dead easy qualification requirements of just ONE active referral and the purchase of just ONE product (1 product per month), then you have a recipe for success.
